Simple present: habits and facts

Explanation

Use the simple present for things you do again and again (habits) and for facts. "I drink tea every morning." "The sun rises in the east." With he, she and it, add -s: "She drinks coffee." रोज़ की आदतों और सच्ची बातों के लिए simple present।

The simple present (सामान्य वर्तमान काल) talks about habits (आदतें), routines and facts. It is the tense of "every day", "always", "usually" and "never".

Careful: Common mistakes: "He go to office" (say "He goes to the office"), "She don't know" (say "She doesn't know"), "I am going to gym daily" for a habit (say "I go to the gym every day").
Tip: Say five things you do every day and three things your best friend does. Listen for the -s with he and she.
