Frequently asked questions

Which languages can I run here?

Python 3, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL (SQLite) and web pages made with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. They run inside your browser, so they work without a server.

Can I run C, C++ or Java?

Not yet. Those need a compiler on a server, and this site never sends your code anywhere. For practice, Python and JavaScript teach the same ideas: variables, loops, functions and classes.

Is my code saved?

The last code you wrote in each language is kept in this browser on this device, so it is there when you come back. Use Save to download it as a file.

What happens if my program never stops?

Each run has a time limit. A loop that never ends is stopped after a few seconds, and you can press Stop at any time.

Is it free?

Yes, with no sign-up and no limit on runs.
