Start from a template
Every part of a template can be changed.
Click to select (drag across or Ctrl+A for several), double-click text to type. Drag corners to resize, the round handle to rotate. Arrows nudge (Shift = 10 px). Ctrl+D duplicates, Ctrl+G groups, Ctrl+Alt+C / V copies and pastes a style, Ctrl + scroll zooms, Delete removes, Ctrl+Z undoes.
Nothing is uploaded. Editing, text reading and font matching all run in your browser. Only the pixels of the old letters are rebuilt, so logos, lines and backgrounds next to them stay as they were.
What you can do
Change the words in a picture: posters, banners, certificates and screenshots, in the same colour, size and closest font.
Add text with outline, boxes, circles, freehand drawing and other images such as a logo.
Adjust brightness, contrast, saturation and blur, or apply grayscale, sepia and invert.
Arrange like a design app: a floating toolbar on the selected element (edit, duplicate, forward, back, lock, delete), a layers list with hide and lock, align to the picture, arrow-key nudging, Ctrl+D, copy and paste, letter spacing, line height, highlight and shadow.
Tips for a clean result
Choose the picture's language first, for example Hindi or Tamil. Grab text around one heading at a time gives the cleanest result on busy posters.
Larger, sharper pictures read better. Screenshots work better than photos of screens.
Only need the words, not the picture? Image to text is faster.
Frequently asked questions
How does it change the text that is already in my picture?
Choose Grab text and drag a box around the words, or press Find all text. The editor reads them with OCR, keeps each heading, label and caption as its own element, removes only the pixels of the old letters (logos and backgrounds beside them stay), and puts the words back as editable text sized and placed exactly over the originals, in the closest-matching font and the same colour.
Will the font be exactly the same?
If the picture used one of the fonts built into the editor (Roboto, Open Sans, Montserrat, Poppins, Oswald and others) or a common system font, usually yes. Otherwise you get the closest-looking one at the same size and colour, and you can pick a different font from the list. Old English and Fraktur (blackletter) lettering is read with a Fraktur OCR model and matched to UnifrakturMaguntia, UnifrakturCook, Grenze Gotisch, Pirata One, Texturina, Fruktur, Germania One or New Rocker, free fonts under the SIL Open Font License.
Which backgrounds work best?
Plain colours and smooth gradients come out clean. Text over a detailed photo is harder: the area behind the old words is rebuilt from its edges, so busy textures can show a soft patch. Adding a box behind the new text is the usual fix.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Reading the text, matching the font and saving all happen in this browser tab. The OCR language models load from this site, not from a third party.
What resolution is the saved image?
The original size of your picture, whatever zoom you edited at. Choose PNG for screenshots and graphics, JPG or WebP for photos.
