A collage in three taps
- Choose 2 to 20 photos (drop them, or pick them from your phone or computer). iPhone HEIC photos work too.
- The best layout appears at once. Tap another layout in the strip to switch, or press Auto layout to go back to the best fit.
- Pick the canvas size, spacing, corners and background, then press Create collage and download it, share it, or open it in the image editor.
Layouts for every number of photos
There are over 60 layouts for 2 to 9 photos: even grids, a big photo with smaller ones beside it, staggered and centre-piece mosaics, and creative ones (photos cut into hearts or circles, a filmstrip, polaroid prints scattered at an angle, and a magazine page with space for a title). For 10 to 20 photos it builds mosaics on the spot: brick rows and columns, a feature mosaic with one large photo, and justified rows, where every photo keeps its own shape and almost nothing is cropped.
Tips for a better collage
- Mix shapes on purpose. A few portrait and a few landscape photos give the most interesting mosaics; the automatic layout puts each in a cell of its shape.
- Lead with your best photo. Drag it into the biggest cell, or reorder the photos below the preview: they fill the cells in that order.
- Thin white spacing looks clean on Instagram; no spacing with a blurred-photo background suits a story; a wide margin and a date caption suit a printed A4 page.
- Dull or dark photos? Turn on Enhance all photos before saving, or fix one photo at a time from its own panel.
- Need it under a size? Choose JPG and enter a limit in KB; the collage is compressed to just under it.
Next steps
Add stickers, text or a frame in the image editor, make every photo brighter first with the photo enhancer, or crop the collage to more sizes with auto crop.
