Auto Crop and Resize for Instagram, YouTube and More

Trim white borders, find the subject and crop many photos to Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, passport and print sizes in one go. Nothing is uploaded.

Private · on device. Runs in your browser: your file is not uploaded. No sign-up.

JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, several at once
Checked automatically. Each photo is looked at on your device: plain borders are trimmed, the main subject (a face, or the most detailed area) is found, and every size is cropped around it. Drag the marker to move the subject point yourself.

One upload, every size

A single photo often has to go to several places: a square Instagram post, a tall story, a wide YouTube thumbnail, a small WhatsApp profile picture. Each needs a different shape, and a centred crop cuts heads off the moment the subject is not in the middle. Here every photo is checked first, then cropped to every size you tick, around its subject.

  1. Choose your photos.
  2. Tick the sizes you need, or add a custom one.
  3. Check the subject point on each photo (the blue outlines show each crop) and drag it if needed.
  4. Make the files, then download one, a ZIP per photo, or a ZIP of everything.

Frequently asked questions

How does it decide where to crop?

First it trims plain borders (white margins from a scan, black bars, see-through padding). Then it looks for the main subject: faces, where the browser offers face detection, otherwise the area with the most detail and the most standout colour, with a slight preference for the middle. Every size is then the largest crop of that shape that keeps the subject in place. You can drag the subject point if it picked the wrong thing.

Will small photos be stretched?

A photo with fewer pixels than a size needs is enlarged to fit, and that size is marked "Enlarged" with how much, so you know it may look soft. Nothing is enlarged silently.

What sizes are included?

Instagram square (1080 × 1080), portrait (1080 × 1350) and story or reel (1080 × 1920), YouTube thumbnail (1280 × 720), Facebook cover (1640 × 624), LinkedIn banner (1584 × 396), X header (1500 × 500), WhatsApp DP (500 × 500), passport 35 × 45 mm and 2 × 2 inch photos at 300 dpi, and A4 print at 300 dpi. Add any custom size in pixels as well.

How are the files organised in the ZIP?

Choose folders by size (one folder per size, named like instagram-square-1080x1080, holding every photo) or folders by photo (one folder per photo, holding every size). Each photo also has its own ZIP button.

Is the passport size ready for an application?

It has the right shape and pixels at 300 dpi, with the face placed a little above centre. Official photos also need a plain background and the head at a set height; for those, use the passport photo maker, which checks every rule of the country you choose.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Trimming, subject finding, enhancing and cropping all happen in your browser. Nothing leaves your device.
