PDF to PowerPoint: Convert PDF to Editable PPTX

Turn a PDF into PowerPoint slides that look the same: pictures, colours and lines kept, and the text as real text boxes you can edit. Or every page as an exact picture. Nothing is uploaded.

Private · on device. Runs in your browser: your file is not uploaded. No sign-up.

Slides saved as PDF, a report, a brochure…
Your PDF is not uploaded. The slides are made in this browser tab. With "Editable text", words keep their place, size and colour; PowerPoint uses the PDF's font when your computer has it, otherwise a close one, so a line may come out a little longer or shorter. A scanned PDF has no text to edit: run it through OCR PDF first.

How to convert a PDF to PowerPoint

  1. Choose the PDF (enter its password if it has one).
  2. Pick "Editable text" to edit the words, or "Exact look" for pictures of the pages.
  3. Keep the page size, or fit the pages onto 16:9, 4:3, A4 or another slide size.
  4. Press Convert and download the .pptx.

Need a Word document instead? Use PDF to Word. For a scanned PDF, run OCR PDF first.

Frequently asked questions

Will the slides look like my PDF?

Yes. With "Editable text", each page is drawn without its text, so every picture, colour, line and shape stays exactly as in the PDF, and the words are put back on top as text boxes in the same place, size, colour and weight.

Can I edit the text?

Yes, each line is a text box in PowerPoint. If your computer does not have the PDF’s font, PowerPoint uses a close one, so a line can come out slightly longer or shorter.

What does "Exact look" do?

Every page becomes one picture on its slide. It looks exactly like the PDF, but the text cannot be edited. Good for showing a document in a meeting.

My PDF is a scan.

A scan has no text inside, only a picture of it. Run it through OCR PDF first, then convert, to get editable text.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in this browser tab.
