Flowchart Maker: Draw Diagrams Online

Draw flowcharts and diagrams: process boxes, decisions, start and end, arrows that stay joined when you move shapes, templates and an org chart. Save as PNG, SVG or PDF. Free, no sign-up.

Private · on device. Runs in your browser: your file is not uploaded. No sign-up.

5 shapes, 4 arrows. Double-click a shape to type in it. Drag on the empty canvas to select several (Shift adds); on a phone, drag with one finger to move the canvas and pinch to zoom.

Nothing is uploaded. The diagram is drawn and saved in this browser tab. PNG is a picture, SVG stays sharp at any size and opens in design apps and browsers, and PDF is a single page the size of your diagram.

How to make a flowchart

  1. Start from a template (a simple process, a yes/no decision or an org chart), or add shapes from the panel.
  2. Double-click a shape to type in it. Choose its kind and colour in the panel.
  3. Select a shape and drag a blue dot onto another to join them; click an arrow to label it Yes or No.
  4. Save the diagram as PNG, SVG or PDF.

Keyboard: Delete removes the selection, Ctrl+Z undoes, Ctrl+Y redoes, Ctrl+D duplicates and the arrow keys move shapes. To put the chart in a presentation, add the PNG to a slide in the PPT maker.

Frequently asked questions

How do I join two shapes with an arrow?

Click a shape, then drag one of the blue dots around it onto the other shape. Or select two or more shapes (Shift and click) and press Join with arrows. Arrows stay joined when you move the shapes.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Tap a shape to select it and drag it to move it; drag the empty canvas with one finger to move around and pinch to zoom. Shapes are added and changed from the panel below the canvas.

Which file should I save?

PNG for documents, slides and chats; SVG to keep it sharp at any size or to edit it in a design app; PDF to print or send it as a document.

Is my diagram saved?

It is kept in this browser as you work, so it is still here when you come back on the same device. It is not uploaded anywhere; save a file to keep a copy.

Can I open Visio files?

No. Diagrams are made here and saved as pictures or PDF; Visio .vsdx files cannot be opened.
