How to add music to a video

  1. Choose the video, then the song.
  2. Drag the handles on the song’s waveform to choose the part to use, and play it to check.
  3. Choose when the music starts, the volumes and the fades.
  4. Press Add the music and download the new video.

To cut the song first, use the audio cutter. To join clips before adding music, use the video merger.

Frequently asked questions

Is my video uploaded?

No. The video and the song are mixed on your own device by FFmpeg running in this browser tab.

Can I keep my voice and add music under it?

Yes. "Voice quieter" keeps the video’s own sound at a lower level under the music; "Both full" keeps both as they are; "Music only" replaces it.

What if the song is shorter than the video?

With "Repeat the music" on, the chosen part plays again until the video ends. Turn it off to play it once.

Is the picture re-encoded?

Not when it can be copied as it is (an MP4 or iPhone video usually can), so the quality stays the same and even long videos are quick. Only the sound is mixed again.
